- O Senhor dos Aneís arrasa por completo os Oscares







E assim foi: numa das mais fracas cerimónias dos últimos anos (sem qualquer chama) e também numa das mais previsíveis, o último capítulo da colossal obra fílmica "O Senhor dos Anéis", arrecadou 11 das 11 estatuetas douradas para as quais estava nomeado, entre outras as de melhor filme, melhor realizador e melhor argumento adaptado. Embora o filme tenha a sua qualidade (indiscutível), não deixo de ficar um bocado irritado com esta atitute estúpida que a academia (e não só) teve ao dar tudo o que podia dar ao terceiro filme da saga realizada por Peter Jackson (quem diria que este senhor de filmes gore estaria em alguma cerimónia dos Oscar ..) - e digo isto por duas coisas: a primeira é que o filme não merecia ter recebido todas (tal como esse filme chamado Titanic) e a segunda é que todos estes prémios surgem com o objectivo de premiar toda a triologia e não apenas o filme em questão (e esta ideia de "filme consagração" dá-me uns ataques de fúria e umas n voltas ao estômago...). Para além disso, à que salientar a soberba (re) entrada em cena do sempre bem disposto Bill Murray; o momento cómico de Will Ferrel e Jack Black); a piada de Adrien Brody acerca do beijo que deu no ano passado a Halle Berry; a homenagem ao realizador/argumentista Black Edwards, aos actores Gregory Peck e Bob Hope e à actriz Katherine Hepburn; a atribuição (mais que justa) a Sofia Coppola pelo seu magnífico argumento (filme : Lost In Translation); e finalmente o reconhecimento devido a um dos grandes actores de Hollywood dos últimos anos: Sean Penn. Quanto a injustiças : Mystic River devia ter ganho pelo menos os Oscares de melhor filme e melhor argumento adaptado (e já nem digo melhor realizador -Clint Eastwood- pois este já venceu no ano do Unforgiven ); Cidade de Deus devia ter ganho para melhor montagem; Good Bye, Lenin! devia ter sido nomeado para o Oscar de melhor filme estrangeiro; e o português Eduardo Serra deivia ter ganho o Oscar de melhor fotografia ( que infelizmente foi para as mãos de Russell Boyd por Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World ).
